The next few days may be light in posting and replying to comments.
I fly to Nashville tomorrow morning for a speech and a dinner, then have a busy morning Thursday of fundraising meetings. That afternoon, I fly with my daughter and son-in-law to REDACTED for my son’s wedding. That milestone is still sinking in, but we’re tremendously excited for their future.
I’ll try to keep you all posted, but it might be a little more scenic and personal than political and pointed. Not to worry; the team at the Lincoln Project is full speed ahead on the Trump, Mike Johnson, and the so-called Republican primary.
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has been so kind in joining this little tribe and helping to build a community of smart commenters, interesting observations, good humor, and a ray of light here and there.
I’m deeply grateful, and I’m honored to share this with all of you.
Happy Halloween!
Our night is gusty, with cool wind pushing toward chilly as the front moves through. Fall has finally really come to Florida, and this might be one of the last nights on the porch. The moon is rising; I’ve got a bit of packing to do, so I’ll say good night and good luck!
Sounds busy but finishing with joy and celebration. Have fun and don’t even think about ex-president He Who Must Not Be Named!
Thanks for the update, and enjoy the trip. We’ll try to make do without the typical number of news updates! 😂
But seriously. Put family first and soak every moment of this in! We’ll be here waiting when you return. 👊❤️🙏
