The Big Picture

Every moment of time in a campaign is precious. Every day has its fixed hours, minutes, and seconds. There are 118 days to go. At the Lincoln Project we know three things are inalterable in this campaign.

First, Donald Trump will be the nominee of the Republican Party, and nothing will change that.

Second, we know he must be defeated.

It doesn’t matter how hard the terrain, how steep the climb, or how harsh the headwinds. Trump and Trumpism, along with its vile appurtenances like Project 2025, Agenda 47, and the sleazy claque of his enablers.

Finally, we understand what the Democrats do not: there can be no letup, no relaxation, no interruption of a constant attack on Donald Trump.

Right now, the Blue Falcon Squad of the Democratic apparat isn’t trying to tear down Donald Trump. Their considerable hatred and energy is focused on cracking Biden’s spirit. They’ve largely gone silent on Trump’s continued evils, insanity, venality, and promises of darkness.
