My memory is that The Apprentice,as first conceived, was supposed to have a different Captains of Industry host each season - people like Welch and Iococca and Jobs, etc. But, sometimes between the first and second season of The Apprentice, it was changed to have Trump be the permanent host. As The Apprentice is, arguably, what made Trump's name to most of America (funny - when was the last time anybody made serious reference to Trump's catch phrase "You're Fired"? So much for his assumed business acumen), it, I think. Is probably worthwhile to uncover exactly how and why this decision went down.
Can anybody out there help move this story further downfield? I bet it's a story that needs to be told.

They can't properly "seize" Trump Tower because Trump doesn't own it per se, just his penthouse condo and some commercial space on the ground floor. Most of Trump's real estate is that way; he owns very little property free and clear and most of it is mortgaged to the hilt, so it's the banks who own it. the classified stuff is probably already in Moscow, but think of the gold mine of docs related to the building itself - there's a whole book about how Trump used T Tower as a money laundering machine for Russian oligarchs, under the management of Manafort If they get control of the building, they should get control of the legal (and illegal) paper trail. It could be a sunny Tuesday and if he tells them its a rainy Thursday, they agree that it is. I pray to G-d that this is finally the beginning of his long, painful slide into further defeat and total obscurity.
