I read Rick's piece and another Trump's rage messaging yesterday. (http://tinyurl.com/2k5wxc5m) So much more clarity now. Spectacle + rage messaging is laid out so well. It seems imperative the we shift strategies, follow Rick's suggestions, but use HUGE FACTS in response to the HUGE LIES if we want to connect on a level the right can understand.

I’m writing to alert the Lincoln Project Community about a huge number of Russian trolls online pretending to be Democrats and asking for your support to meet a critical “deadline” Every one needs to follow Glenn Kirchner and only offer to donate “one dollar” if the site insists that they will only take more, and especially if they say that “hurry, your donation will be matched 3000% but only if you donate by midnight tonight, and keep redirecting you to donate more then you can be pretty sure they are 🧌 🤖🤖. Also people should subscribe to Radio Free Europe to find out how the Ukranians are barely hanging on
People are really suffering and dying and freezing to death. President Biden needs us to help him to help them literally survive.
I’m a Dem and could not agree more with going on the offensive with the border, especially given all of the extra chaos that Abbott is creating. As for progressives and their concern that this policy will block the pathway for vulnerable asylum seekers, they need to realize that when everyone uses that route, the worthy candidates get lost in the crowd of everyone trying to game the rules to gain entry. Better control over asylum ensures that the people who truly deserve it have a better chance. This is a win-win for sure.
I’d like to see Rep. Lori Chavez-Deremer (OR-R) squirm her way out of this mess. She told me I couldn’t film her when I asked her about Ukraine last March at her OPEN HOUSE, in her taxpayer funded office. Then an OC policeman showed up at my elbow. Of course, I never stopped recording. Now I live to make her squirm her way back to Happy Valley.
We have sunk to the point that no political message more complex and nuanced than "Biden Good - Trump Bad" can penetrate the collective thick skull of the American electorate. That said, if the good guys have to go full-on caveman in order to win, that's what we've got to do.
Thank you Rick. The Biden folks finally seem to understand what has been eluding Dems since at least McGovern. That they do not get points from the public for being what they consider wonderful, right thinking people or for endlessly pointing out when Republicans are hypocritical. People don't care. Plus after 52 freaking years it's gotten tiresome...
