Precisely what we have been and are still waiting for Rick. I say let the heads roll even if it is only an acronym.

Fun fact - our use of "left" and "right" in political discourse dates precisely from where delegates sat, during the French Revolution's National Convention.

Excellently put. Your insights to how the Russian & French rebellions got rid of their own people was something I had forgotten. Thank you for reminding me that every revolution has its heavy hand in getting rid of anyone who disagrees with the PTB. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

Hate will only bring more hate.

I am originally French and I always have this little fear that seen outside France the Revolution was a blessing. It was, early on, in some way because it brought up the constitution, but the years following 1789 were a brutal awful inhuman weight on France.

People forget that the beheaded king, Louis the 16th, was in fact a peaceful man, extremely liberally educated and wanted to copy the English system of monarchy by making the monarch a sort of retired soundboard for a new democracy.

The brutal years of 1791 to 1794 and later on turmoil till 1799 the advent of what is called le Consulat with the advent of Bonaparte, were years of terror where you could denounce the name of your neighbor because you just didn't like him, so he would be decapitated, precisely as is depicted in the wonderful movie, The Life of Others. Hate and fear the mark of tyranny.

So fighting Trump now and his 2025 project is essential.

SO well written! I hope you’re right and the self-destruction of what was once the Republican Party continues until it is defeated. Sadly, I think they’ll probably take some good people down with them.

You think Lewandowski is trying to get back on the campaign.? If so, is Susie wiles trying to put up a wall? Do you think she would quit?

I think Lewandowski's influence is a likely explanation. This incident happened several decades ago when her kids were in school so it's not like she needed to defend herself from impending legal action. There was no cogent reason at all for her to bring it up. I'm sure her brain trust in Pierre were horrified; the "tough but necessary things we have to do on the farm" excuse just makes rural people look like monsters. Your daughter's pet dog is not livestock.

But this idea _would_ ooch into the tiny mind of the exiled thug Corey Lewandowski. This is a guy whose instincts and impulse control are so in the gutter that he had to be escorted off the property after getting shitfaced and persistently and aggressively hitting on the wife of a donor at a Trump fundraising event. You know, while her husband was at the same table, LOL. It certainly doesn't speak well of Kristi Noem's character that she got involved with a bad hombre like Lewandowski. Although I guess he _is_ possessed of a certain animal charm. After all, he also bedded Hope Hicks for a time. Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do.

"Oh yeah, Kristi, that's' right, you shot your daughter's pet dog. Put that in there." This is _exactly_ the sort of thing that would occur to Lewandowski's lizard brain, but it was more an advertisement for him than for her. She had already polished up all the VP apples she needed to and then some, including a bunch of work that gave her the trout lips and botox rictus of Kimberly Guilfoyle. Cory would think that a true MAGA soldier would need to know how to behave like a lowlife thug in order to get the job done. Right, boss? Can I come back now?

Wiles and LaCivita would not quit if Trump chose Kristi over their most strenuous objections. They're both excellent operators but they're also clear eyed about who Trump is.
