As a recovered alcoholic(18 years this March), my heart hurts to watch Hunter go through this, but watching him the other day, I can see he has a strong program and is up for the challenge (God willing.) I hope the Republicans get ripped to shreds throughout this process, but unfortunately it will garner them the news bytes they want for far right media and the base will only see/hear those. I guess that doesn’t really matter because none of them will change their minds anyway, but I worry about the catchphrases that will leak out into the general electorate that is mostly tuned out and will fall prey to the general feeling that Biden is somehow tainted.
Rick - Great podcast. - Can you post a list or (tell where we can find a list) of the Problem Solver Republicans? It would be good to aid their opponents in the upcoming campaign.

Remember when Trump asked Zelenskyy to find dirt on Hunter and Joe? All he cared about was an accusation or allegation, not proof. This is the new paradigm shift for the party.

I don’t know why we even bother getting upset or outraged. It’s a feature in the Republican Party, not a bug. Can anyone say $2 billion for Kushner from SA. Or $1 billion for Kushner from Qatar for the 666 Fifth Ave real estate fiasco. Or the crazies in Congress doing their utmost best to out stupefy each other; leading to millions in campaign cash.
Trump not only annihilated the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, enriching himself with foreign interests; his PAC’s also raised money for his lawsuits both as president and as a private citizen by grifting his base to build a wall or stop the steal; yet, none of the money went for either causes.
Yet, more than 50% of Americans think Biden and Hunter are more corrupt. If anyone believes the media isn’t playing a crucial role, think again....:)
I sure as hell hope the justice department is investigating Kushner‘s $2 billion payday, even though we’re hearing nothing about it in the news. That is a situation that is just screaming for an investigation.
