I think he is also a sociopath and quite possibly ADHD to boot. Makes for a nasty mix. Not a professional diagnosis, just an opinion from observation. And nothing against people with ADHD. The people I love the most have it. My point is all these problems he has drive all the things Rick talks about and because of that, there is no hope he will ever behave in a “normal” way. We have to stop being shocked by what he does and armor up against him. We lose too much time in the “can you believe what Trump just did” phase.
He's not been formally diagnosed, but many psychologist and psychiatrists (Brandy Lee, MD for one) have spoken about his narcissism. Narcissism is a pretty common diagnosis, many CEOs have narcissistic tendencies. But, a formal diagnosis requires the patient meets 5 of 9 criteria. In reading the diagnosis in The DSM, Trump meets all 9 criteria. That is highly unusual and it also makes him dangerous. Think a wild, wounded animal cornered, it will go to extremes to protect itself. Trump is showing those tendencies now that the courts are catching up to him. His re-election will only vindicate him and give him freedom to retaliate. Gawd help us if he is.
