The repubs did not have the courage to impeach Donald. Shortly after leaving office, McCarthy went to Mar a lago to kiss the ring. That show of fealty resuscitated the Mango Mussolini. He now controls the party. 95% of the Repubs kowtow to him. Donald threatens any who do not follow his orders. Those who do not show him proper deference have a short shelf life in Congress.

Funny how women's bodily autonomy can be left up to individual states, but keeping someone off the ballot for a constitutionally sound reason is too significant to leave it in the hands of state governments. SMH.

Yes, everything Trump touches ultimately fails, and the people who were with Trump in the thing get thrown under the bus The question is, Why do seemingly intelligent and otherwise competent people get caught in his web?

I think that for some people, there is a deep down need to be part of something, a movement or some kind of special club, and Trump‘s MAGA movement created that. I also think a large motivating factor for many Republicans is outright fear. Trump has created an environment where no one feels safe from him and the wrath of his followers. So they continue to embrace him to protect themselves and their families.
