Rewatched tonight@home because it was so good earlier. Grandkids a bit noisy before because they are kids, 11, 10 and 9. P visiting a friend having dinner, S on his brother’s tablet. M visiting a friend until he’s brought home. S wants to go with me to the car wash. Another shoelace tying lesson for S. He is not wanting to do it, yet I know he can…He’s on the spectrum but kinda fixated on car washes.
And M was ok to come with me to feed the cat, have a banana popsicle, and head back to eat dinner with them. So thinking of this upcoming election. I feel ready but hope America wants a leader not a ruler, autocrat and corrupt failed nominee like taRump.
ABC just had a review of January 6, but I missed most of it. I felt terrible then and now for the law enforcement officers. I served GSA, as a Federal Protective Service Officer in 1976-1982. The federal police academy I trained at had training from Capital Police instructors, US Customs, Treasury Department instructors from IRS, ATF etc. It opened my eyes wide to the scope of federal law enforcement, and I felt the weight of the “thin blue line”.
Eyes wide open, but feels like a brewing storm brewing ahead of us.
This is all going to get way, way uglier. I hope the prisons are monitoring the mail and phone calls of the likes of Stewart Rhodes, Steve Bannon, and Enrique Tarrio.
I know a woman who is convinced that antifa and actors were responsible for January 6. Thank you, Rick.
