Your advice is sound...the enduring question is why Democratic leadership in the House and Senate refuse to follow this advice.

Schumer, Durbin, Jeffries, etc. could leave the country and no one would notice.

Even Democratic Congressman willing to do cable hits offer weak sauce (eg, Swalwell's pet phrase "chaos caucus vs democracy", which bizarrely manages to downplay the apocalyptic dangers we face).

The refusal to make crystal clear the stark choice makes the Democratic party look weak and indecisive, virtually handing voters to the GOP.

There should be a lineup of surrogates flooding the media with clarity, boldness, and repetition. The days of simply reacting to the GOP, carefully, couching ever word with caveats and legalese, are over.

If democracy fails completely, Democratic leadership will bear a portion of the blame.
