I still don't think kamala Harris will win against this man. After reading some history, we have been fighting fascism for a loooong time. In the house, in the senate. The country didn't want to get into wwll until millions were dead and even then it took a hit on hawaii . Then after wwll joe Mccarthy from Wisconsin was taking our country down a dark path. Here we are again, only I don't think we have the right amount of angels this time. Sorry. Convince otherwise.
Rick I had to laugh at your comment about your southern grandma telling you to “go get a switch boy!” I wasn’t raised in the south, but my mom was raised by parents from Virginia. I remember times when I misbehaved and was told to go get switch form own “discipline”. 😊
What is your take on her doing interviews? It seems like the polls reflect the fact that a lot of people don’t know who she is and not going on TV isn’t helping?
Why is the media not talking about the fact the Orang Turd said not once, but TWICE last night that Biden was his opponent. Why is the media not talking about the fact that, when asked about the school shooting in Georgia, in the same softball sham of a “town hall” (he took no questions from the audience, even though is was all MAGA) he did not even answer the question, but bragged about his endorsement from Orban - a complete non-sequitor?
As the KDLang(?) classic country/Western song has it; “God bless the boys who make the noise on sixteenth avenue.” God bless you Rick. And just wanted to tell you I love your granddaughter’s middle name. She’s a light-bearer for sure! 🦋🪬📿👍🏼🙏
When I put up my Biden/Harris for President sign in 2020, I made sure that several American flags were displayed to that sign. Those G&damn MAGAts have no right to own that!
waking up in western washington and looking at the pile of raw electronics in the corner, wondering if i should signal jam aberration45s earworm at the next debate.
not sure what it would accomplish, but absolutely sure i would be rewarded in the afterlife.
Tim Walz, although younger than I am, reminds me of my late dad and FIL. Theirs was the kind of quiet masculinity that didn't need defining, that looked out for their families and friends, helped out neighbors, never met a stranger, and wasn't afraid to cry when the situation warranted. Fortunately, they raised their sons to be the same way.
I don't understand why so many men, especially down this way, seem to live in a box about an inch square that dictates every aspect of their lives. Maybe it's a product of life in the bible belt, but there's a rigidity and judmentalism that leaves men around here with anger simmering just under the surface at all times. Life in the box doesn't seem to produce happy, secure men.
I'll take the Tim Walz version of manhood over JD CatLady's any day of the week. IMO, Walz's masculinity is genuine, while Jim Dave's is performative. One is happy, the other is clearly miserable.
Tim Walz form of masculinity mirrors my fathers too. Men who act like that fit the term Jesus said about being “humble”. They are very masculine in the ways that matter, but are not overbearing, narcissists. Jesus had Almighty power - but didn’t use it - Jesus resisted the Devil’s temptation. So it’s a choice. Trumpians and their cult have been promoting the choice of the ones who failed the devil’s test. And then they claim to be holy😂. But the Devil was a liar from the start.
I'm pretty sure the Bible has something to say about people who call good evil and evil good. My mom used to love the old expression that 'a lion never has to tell you it's a lion.' If you're a real man, you don't feel the need to prove it, or look outside yourself for confirmation.
I have so many family members who have served or are currently serving, including my dad in the Korean War. And what Trump did at Arlington shows he's willing to desecrate everything about our country. Criticize American involvement in whatever war you'd like, we have the freedom to do that, but respect the men and women who went in harm's way because their commander in chief told them to. So many things he has done are unforgivable, immoral, illegal, and degrading but Arlington is in the top 3.
Same here. My late father and FIL were both veterans, my dad of the Korean War, my FIL of WWII. Both would have punched Donald Trump's draft-dodging lights out for what he did at Arlington. To them, our veterans, and especially our honored war dead, weren't suckers, losers, or photo props, and woe to anyone who disrespected them.

The word you’re looking for as far as Gov. Walz is approachable.

We are definitely taking back the flag!

Being dead soldiers who died for our country, does not prevent their being used as political cannon fodder by Donald Trump

Nailed it again Rick.
If Ytump wins, Vance and company will invoke Article 25 faster than Vance can say "Trump is a crazy pants."

That “did it” for me (but I was already “Absolutely *anybody* but trump”) — “Lethal military.” Not woke. Yup.

Oh - there was even a mention of false messiahs - when I saw a book about trump as the second coming of Jesus 😤
Or the golden idol they made of him at CPAC a couple of years ago. These people are a weird, destructive cult.
Oh yea!!! Very strange!!!
2 Peter 2. They are false prophets and false teachers. We were warned 2000 years ago to steer clear.
Great show and thank both of you!
